Light. Images. Light/images. Moving lights. Moving images. Moving/light/images. Framed and free flowing light waves, sculptural light objects.
The ON sight specific group exhibition presents works by artists of Lighthouse light art society at an unusual location by utilizing the special atmosphere of Csokonai Theatre in Debrecen and turning it into an impromptu art gallery.

Viktor VICSEK / Limelight:
According to Stephen Wolfram’s theory, who, for his research, used the space filler that models several aspects of the real world accurately, and that served as the main inspiration behind the artwork, whenever we encounter a complex phenomenon, we expect it to be the outcome of complex mechanisms as well. We are, however, mistaken – simple programs that exist on all levels of nature can also produce complexity.
These programs are the key to everything. In tracing back from complex systems to simple principles, humans are inspired by their desire to understanding, however, they try to simplify surrounding mechanisms in vain as those will always coagulate into complex phenomena. The site-specific installation was created along this principle, using self-made LED tubes.
